About the role:
Are you seeking an opportunity where the business puts Health and Safety first and is committed to developing its people, building knowledge and expertise in Supply Chain Operations.
We currently have 2 Shift Leader vacancies within our Supply Chain Warehouse Operations department at our Aylesford site.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
To develop, train and support the warehouse Outbound team to be a multifunctional team in the planning, picking, packing of customer orders in timely and accurate manner and ensure a high level of customer service is achieved. Communicate across all levels of the business ensuring continuity of detailed information to all stakeholders within the Polypipe. Complete key KPI’s in order to measure performance of the team.
Person Specification:
Our ideal candidate will have the following knowledge, experience, skillset and
behaviours:
• Good Supply Chain and Warehousing experience.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to motivate and empower team members through positive communication, reinforcement and support development of all team members.
• A good understanding of Health, Safety & Environmental requirements, with the ability to identify risks and manage them accordingly using the appropriate methods and documentation.
• Demonstrated Good Team Behaviours and willingness to learn.
• Ability to be trained and the use of Manual Handling Equipment.
• Computer literate – Working Knowledge of Microsoft suite and IFS.
Shifts: Rotating 2 Shift – 6am to 2pm & 2pm to 10pm. 40 Hour week – Monday to Friday
Salary: Up to £33,014.19 (Band 5)
