About the role:
We currently have an opportunity to join our Extrusion team as a Technical Operator. The Technical Operator will undergo training and have the opportunity to become a Production Technician within approximately 24 months. This opportunity may suit individuals who are wishing to start or change their career.

No specific experience is required – all training will be provided – however previous manufacturing experience will be an advantage. Training will include FLT & Crane as well as the completing a Level 2 Certificate in Extrusion Technology.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

The role will involve the packing and booking of extruded products, quality inspection and testing as well as moving product using a variety of Mechanical Handling Equipment such as Forklift Trucks and Combi-Lifts. In addition to these functions, the Technical Operators will support our Production Technicians in the setting of extrusion tooling, downstream equipment, machine and material changeovers, filter cleaning or changes and preventative planned maintenance tasks

Shifts: The position is 3 rotating shifts (6 am – 2 pm, 10 pm – 6 am and 2 pm – 10pm)
40 hrs per week - Monday – Friday


Salary: £26,322 (inclusive of shift allowance) per annum. Band 2
