You and your team
Reporting to the HR Regulation and Compliance Officer the role holder will be responsible for supporting the creation and completion of regulatory and compliance administration processes within HR, including ensuring compliance with GDPR, Senior Managers and Certification Regime, Risk management and general employment law requirements within HR.

Your duties in this position will include:

• Keeping up to date with all relevant regulatory and legislative changes
• Helping to develop and review controls to mitigate potential risks in the HR Team as well as raising potential and emerging risks to the Head of HR Operations
• Monitoring the compliance of the HR team, ensure all regulation and best practice guidelines are adhered too
• Helping to create Business Impact Assessments
• Working with the HR R&C Officer to review Business Continuity Plans for the whole of HR
• Support the management and co-ordination of the Senior Managers and Certification Regime processes, including recruitment process, annual fit and proper certification and Material Risk Taker process and leavers process
• Supporting the wider HR function with their understanding of current, new and future HR Regulations, Compliance and Risk awareness.
• All elements of Compliance and Regulation administration as required.

What you bring to the team

It is essential for this post that any applications have previous HR experience. To be successful in this post, you will need to be inquisitive by nature, able to challenge the way we do things and ask why? you will be process driven and understand the importance of confidentiality. You will take pride in your work and be hungry to continually learn and develop your skills and knowledge.

This role can be based at either Chatham, London or Bradford offices. This is a hybrid working role with a requirement to work a minimum of 2 days a week in the office.
