About the role: Milestone Academy are seeking a motivated and hardworking IT Technician to join their vibrant team from June 2022. The successful candidate will support and maintain all IT hardware and services across the academy site in which the appointed candidate will be based and assist with any IT issues on day to day basis. Our ideal candidate will be able to communicate with non-technical staff members and students in a polite and concise manner, with the ability to prioritise work in line with SLA’s.

Our successful candidate will have personal or professional experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN). Working within a SEN environment is challenging but rewarding, therefore experience in this remit would be essential, as well as experience in delivering IT support. Our appointed candidate will be helping our students get the most out of IT learning, using the many facilities available to the SEN environment. Excellent organisation and communication skills are required, along with being a versatile team player and dedicated individual.

This is a full time position (37 hours p/w) offering a salary of £21,775 per annum + 25 days annual leave + bank holidays.





Working for Milestone Academy: Milestone Academy is a large special school for pupils with Profound, Severe and Complex needs, and is part of Leigh Academies Trust.
