Job Title: Legal Recruitment Consultant

Salary: £25 - 32k DOE + UNCAPPED commission OTE £37 - 80k+++

Location: Maidstone

Pearson Whiffin Recruitment are looking for an experienced Legal Recruitment Consultant with a positive, driven attitude to join an established and successful team, developing a specialist Legal desk.

Duties include:

* Knowing and understanding the legal market and nuances of the different roles and requirements across the industry.
* Building your desk through business development activities targeted at both new and lapsed clients, both over the phone and in person.
* Personal account management of existing business, building your reputation and brand in the industry.
* Using different resourcing techniques to attract and find appropriate, high calibre candidates.
* Building great relationships with your candidate base, starting with face-to-face registrations, and continuing through their placements to ensure you're always their first port of call as candidates move through their careers.
* Being an effective part of a strong, collaborative team who support and celebrate one another's successes.
* Offering the highest standards of customer service and integrity to clients, candidates, and internally, building your reputation and brand based on delivering a knowledgeable and honest service.
* All associated administration, including writing engaging adverts, maintaining internal systems, and ensuring CVs demonstrate why a candidate is the best fit for each role.

The successful candidate will have:

* Experience as a Recruitment Consultant in the Legal market, with knowledge and ideas about how to develop a new specialist desk within the wider Business Support team.
* Bags of drive, ambition, and self-motivation, with a 'hunter' mentality.
* An interest in the legal industry and desire to provide a knowledgeable recruitment service to your clients.
* Resilience and tenacity.
* Great attention to detail and organisation skills.
* The ability to pick up new systems with ease.
* Fantastic communication skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and forge long lasting business relationships based on trust and excellent service.
* Flexibility and adaptability.
* The desire to work within a team, supporting and being supported by others.
