ACB is a privately owned company based in Aylesford on the 2020 Business Estate. We operate UK wide managing the disposal of specialist waste materials, primarily radioactive. We are ISO 9001, 14001 and 27001 certified. We are recruiting for an QSH&E manager who can maintain our certification and provide continuous improvement support to the Board to help contribute to the success of this organisation.

Job description
Maintain and run our robust and mature Integrated Management System
As the QSHE manager reporting directly to the Board of Directors you will:
· Be responsible for the day to day running of the Integrated Management System.
· Fully support the management of health, safety, quality and environmental systems.
· Support and provide advice on compliance with management systems and maintenance of certifications through proactive support and compliance auditing.
· Support and drive SHE culture change by expressing strong influencing skills at managerial and operations levels across the business.
· Undertake SHE auditing
· Be responsible for the management and maintenance of the Company's Integrated Management System (IMS) and advise and assist management on the implementation of the company Management systems into their daily routines.
· Work closely with the management team to ensure that their respective annual QSHE targets and objectives are regularly reviewed and monitored and achieved.
· Develop and deliver in house quality, health and safety and environmental training packages to identified personnel within the company.
· Take responsibility for the production and regular updating and maintenance of the site specific QSHE plans.
· Conduct QSHE Self Assessments as required and the annual QSHE comprehensive assessments in order to demonstrate continuous improvements of the IMS.
· Maintain accurate records and report monthly on QSHE statistics: Non conformances and actions taken to rectify them; Accidents and incidents; environmental energy, fuel and water usage and waste segregation, reuse, recycling and disposals
· Provide a proactive roll in the investigation of all accidents, incidents and near misses that occur and provide prompt and accurate reporting in line with business processes, provide action plans, tool box talks, and process and procedure reviews to support the culture of prevention rather than cure.
· Complete the monthly client report and provide QSHE data as required.

· Ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team.
· Good communication skills.
· Must be computer literate - Word, Excel, Microsoft Project & Web
· NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent or working towards it
· Efficient and reliable
· Flexible and adaptable
· Ambitious and motivated
The Package
· Renumeration: From £38k + DOE
· Holiday 30 days inc Bank holidays
· Hours 8:30 – 5:30
· Location: ME16 0LQ – no working from home available
· Free Parking
