Trainee Insurance Broker

Barker Munro Recruitment is pleased to be working with this fantastic regional insurance broker who has a superb role for individuals to apply who possess some or limited insurance experience in order to grow and develop their insurance career.

Out client focuses heavily on training and development and a full induction and training plan will be provided to successful applicants. All staff have the opportunity to study for professional insurance qualifications such as, Chartered Insurance Institute (CII). Each placement provides employees to continually develop their knowledge and personal skills which could result in opportunities in other areas of the business.

Principal duties:
• Maintaining day to day Compliance procedures for FCA Regulation
• Incoming and outbound call handling (new and existing clients)
• Corresponding and communicating with clients and insurance companies
• Data input
• Dealing with general post in accordance with office procedures
• New Business Processing
• Mid term adjustments Processing
• Renewals Processing
• Liaising and resolving financial facility queries with both client and provider
• Customer service

Candidates with some insurance experience looking for a career within either Personal lines or Commercial insurance would be ideal, however, consideration is also given to Graduates looking for an opportunity to enter the insurance market or individuals from other sectors looking to move into insurance.
