Our client based in the Southend area are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Chef de Partie on a permanent basis. The premises have been awarded AA Rosette for outstanding food in the past few years.

The Chef de Partie will join an established kitchen team that provides breakfast, lunch, dinner, bar / lounge food as well as function catering. You must be capable of working in fast paced, high turnover environments.

Duties will include but are not limited to:

* Learning new menus
* Working unsupervised and helping to develop other team members of the team.
* Good time management
* Preparing and cooking and presenting to high standards
* Assisting with creating new menus.

Experience with fresh food concept with high volume and banqueting experience will be beneficial along with being a good communicator with great attention to detail.

You will be required to hold an intermediate Level 2 Food Safety qualification.

Shift patterns can include 7am-3pm.

Late Finishes 3pm-11pm with the occasional split shift 7am-11am & 6pm - 10pm
