This is an excellent opportunity to work with an internationally established company as a Finance/Accounts Manager.

The ideal Finance/Accounts Manager would be someone who is energetic and enjoys a challenge and is looking to be part of an expanding group of businesses. This is a long term position and the new Finance/Accounts Manager must be interested in a career in managing the accounts for a group of companies. You will need to be hands-on as well as analytical with your management style.

You will be mainly be based working out of the Croydon head office and will be responsible for a team of 3 people at this facility as well as account assistants within the other businesses that are part of the group ensuring that all monthly accounts are prepared accurately and to a set deadline.

Main Duties

Assist with the Group's month-end close processes.

Work closely with senior management to develop the reporting processes, controls, and systems

Review of month-end balance sheet reconciliations and control accounts across the Group

Support the preparation of relevant and timely financial information of the Group's strategy and objectives

Support the wider business in all areas of operational finance

Assist in maintaining and improving internal controls to ensure compliance

Assist with external audit queries and year-end processes

Establishing strong frameworks for smooth and efficient financial transaction activities

Providing leadership, a clear vision for the direction and development of the team of three direct reports

Experience
Sound knowledge of finance and accounts
Minimum of at least 5 years' experience within the accounts field
