Management Accountant | North Kent | £40k - £50k

This is an exciting opportunity for a part/newly qualified accountant to join a Global organisation as a Management Accountant based in their North Kent Head Office. This role is fully office based working a 37.5 hours a week.

You will be responsible for:-
• Responsible for the month end accounting process to tight Group reporting deadlines
• Preparation of detailed analysis of Management accounts, budgets, variances, commentaries, and financial statements
• Assist in the monthly review of WIP and accruals
• Preparation and Maintenance of General Ledger and other standard journals including Prepayments, Accruals, and Fixed Assets
• Completion of Month end and Quarter end balance sheet reconciliations with relevant schedules
• Key involvement in the UK statutory audit including producing lead schedules
• Preparing information for the annual budgeting process
• Monthly Intercompany Reconciliations
• Monthly Payroll processing and reconciliations, working with HR and the outsourced payroll service provider
• Annual preparation of P11D information
• Ad-Hoc Accounts Reporting & other Duties as required

You will need:-
• Part-Qualified ACCA, CIMA or ACA
• Recent experience in Management Accounts
• Strong reconciliation experience including intercompany reconciliation
• Organisational skills and strong attention to detail
• Good communication skills and a team player with a positive outlook
• Forward thinking. Proactive, not reactive
• Excel skills including pivot tables and vlookups
