Personal Injury Claims, Essex to £40,000
Underwriting Agency based in Essex have a new role for an experienced Persona injury Claims handler
* Pro actively investigate new potentially serious losses.
* Gather information to be able to accurately reserve a new large loss
* Pro actively manage pedestrian/cyclist claims from start to finish
* Be a referral point for personal injury team
* Assist claims manager with auditing of suppliers
* Understanding of FCA regulation including Treating Customers Fairly
* Good knowledge of company products and policy wordings.
* Sound understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and the Personal Injury Portal process, both existing MOJ and new IOC portals
* Ability to manage small allocation pro actively
* Understanding of Ogden tables, how to use them, impact of discount rate changes.
* Ability to make quick and precise decisions.
* Be highly self-organised, managing multiple tasks concurrently to successful and timely conclusions.
Strong Personal injury experience is essential
