We are working with a well-known organisation who serve a diverse community of people within the Kent and Medway areas. The role is based within the Collaboration Team and will be responsible for building long-term relationships within communities and establishing links with a range of partners on a regional and national basis, to identify and remove barriers and to drive cultural change, whilst leading the team. Additionally, there will be input into the design of services, so they are tailored to meet the needs of all customer and ensure accessibility.

The role

* Work with partners to develop, implement and review collaboration and partnership activities
* Develop relationships with third sector and voluntary groups as well as co-ordinating strategies through community meetings
* Work with key partner agencies to support collaborative working, such as community safety partnerships
* Identify new opportunities for collaboration and partnership activities to meet set objectives
* Manage projects and initiatives to meet objectives, including commissioning the expertise of other teams within the organisation
* Ensure insight from diverse communities and partners is widely shared

To apply, you will possess excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to build strong relationships and be able to communicate to, and with, a range of audiences and produce good quality written reports. You will have a detailed knowledge of equality, diversity and inclusion legislation and issues, have the ability to influence behaviours and drive cultural change and be experienced in leading and implementing change programmes.

The position is offered on a hybrid basis. Own transport is essential due to the requirement to travel throughout Kent and Medway and potentially nationally.
