My client is looking for a professional and hard working purchase ledger expert. You will play an integral role in the day-to-day processes of the finance team. This is a fast-paced environment so my client is seeking someone who can work well under pressure. You will be working as part of a team and although you must display an ability to get on with your own work, being versatile and offering support to other team members is crucial.
What does it entail?
• Processing purchase orders and allocating cost codes
• Entering supplier invoices in a prompt and timely manner
• Creating new suppliers accounts
• Investigating and resolving purchase ledger queries
• Making supplier payments
• Producing month end BACS reports
• Reconciling supplier statements
What skills and experience do I need?
• Experience in a purchase ledger position (essential)
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Good organisational skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong IT skills
