A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading Kent business as a Talent Acquisition Team Manager.
You`ll be responsible for building relationships with stakeholders and using new and innovative methods to attract the best talent to the business.
What you`ll be doing:
- Partner with hiring managers to understand the job requirements, person specification and provide a value add recruitment service
- Design and implement the candidate attraction strategy (creating adverts, posting vacancies, direct sourcing, screening applications and liaising with agencies)
- Assist with the shortlisting of candidates, conducting telephone interviews as well as arranging face-to-face interviews
- Support in developing a key pipeline of candidates for critical and hard to fill roles.
- Responsible for the new starter and induction process, producing offers of employment; conducting the pre-employment reference process and supporting with the set-up of the on boarding process
What you`ll be:
- CIPD qualifications are essential, with Level 7 being highly desirable
- Previous in-house recruitment experience
- Good understanding of UK recruitment and employment law
- Efficient project coordination skills
- Proven experience of managing multiple recruitment campaigns simultaneously
- Knowledge of selection and assessment tools
- Ability to operate within a fast-paced environment, prioritising multiple tasks
- Effective organisational and communication skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Ability to make informed and robust decisions and influence key stakeholders accordingly
- Excellent relationship building and administrative skills
