Advertising Sales

£26,000 - £28,000 p.a. + commission

Due to expansion Bell Publishing is looking for an Advertising Sales professional to work on one of our industry leading b2b titles in the food and drink sector (print, digital and events).

The client base is global, so a confident and excellent telephone manner is essential. This is an exciting position with the opportunity to travel overseas to attend exhibitions and visit customers (once the coronavirus conditions permit).

The ideal candidate should have a proven track record of 2-3 years experience in sales, preferably within the b2b publishing environment. You will be able to manage an already-established client base while also sourcing new customers, and will sell directly to clients as well as agencies, both face to face and over the phone. You will also have good knowledge of digital advertising.

Working to monthly targets, this position is perfect for a professional sales person looking to ply their skills within an exciting industry. Salary is enhanced with an attractive monthly commission structure across our print and digital media platforms.

We are based in Gravesend town centre with easy access by road and train (high speed link serving Medway Towns and London).

Background and skills:

2-3 years sales experience ideally in b2b print and digital
Multiplatform sales experience
Confident, outgoing approach with excellent communication and negotiation skills
Attention to detail and superb organisational skills
Good understanding of b2b events
Experience of digital flatplans and production
Work on international brands is preferred but not essential.
Responsibilities:

Revenue growth through advertising sales on print and digital platforms
Work alongside the editorial, events and production teams to develop an integrated strategy to maximise sales
Travel to events (mainly UK and Europe) post-pandemic
Develop new media packages, based on individual client needs
Manage the CRM
Review competitor activity.
