Would you like to work for a company that provides great training and will actively support you to develop a career in care?
PureCare is seeking to recruit Mental Health Day/Night Senior/Support Workers for both Rock House, our long established residential home, and our brand new residential service opening in early 2022. Both services are located in Gillingham, within easy walking distance of the town centre and with good access to local transport links.
So…what do we do? In short, we help, support and encourage people with mental health issues to lead their lives as independently as possible. PureCare offers high quality residential and community support services in Kent and Medway and offers the best standard of support for its clients. Wherever possible, our aim is to rehabilitate our clients back into a life in the community.
Do you feel you have the skills to offer high quality support to others? We are looking for people who really do care about making a difference to the lives of others and who are committed to the cause.
As a Support Worker you will be required to support clients with their cooking, cleaning, budgeting, shopping, medication, appointments and wellbeing.
As a Senior Support Worker you will be required to organise and manage your Support Workers to ensure clients receive the support they are both entitled to and deserve.
Night roles involve a large element of cleaning and less of the activities outside of the homes.
You must have the ability to work both by yourself and as part of a team. Common sense and flexibility are imperative along with a good sense of humour! No previous experience for day or night Support Worker roles is required as full training will be provided.
We currently have full-time day or night positions available for people who demonstrate that they are prepared to work hard and be committed. You will need to be flexible and must be prepared to work on a 24 hour 7 day rota.
£9.50-£10.50 per hour
