Gomez is one of the largest produce companies in the UK and is based in Bridge near Canterbury. We supply produce to major supermarkets, wholesale and non-multiple retailers and are seeking a Customs Administrator.
This role is the central point of contact for our procurement and commercial teams. Supporting all aspects of customs throughout the business.
As a member of the Customs team you can expect to be challenged by a varied role within an extremely fast paced environment.
This is a great opportunity to join our newest department where you will receive full training and have an opportunity to help Gomez navigate the new customs rules.
Essential
• Excellent attention to detail
• High level of numerical ability and analytical skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Previous experience of forward planning skills
• High level of Microsoft Office proficiency
Desirable
• Previous customs experience within the food industry
• Previous experience with a stock management system such as Rubicon or similar
• Multi-Lingual
The hours of work are 40 per week, working either 4 days on and 4 days off or, working 5 days on and 2 days, off flexibly to meet the needs of the business, which will include some weekend working
