Job Spec – Business Development Consultant
Salary £25,000 - £30,000 per annum plus commission
25 days holiday
Initially based at our office in Bromley, with the option to work from home once embedded in the team

Role & Responsibilities
*End to end sales process:
- Telesales and face to face appointment setting
- Identify potential new customers
- Identify and scope customer requirements, writing proposals and closing opportunities for a wide range of technology solutions as well as managed services
- Managing and development of customer accounts
- Research new sales opportunities within accounts
*Generate attendance at events and briefings
*Sales related administration
*Actively engage in training and development opportunities offered by vendors and distributors alongside internal training programmes

Essential Skills & Experience Required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Outstanding rapport building abilities
• A passion to deliver the best service possible
• A love of collaborating and working with other likeminded people
• Strong documentation skills and a keen interest in writing creatively
• Strong academic background educated to at least A Level standard, we are particularly interested in candidates with good grades in humanities subjects such as English Literature and History
• Able to use Microsoft Office to a good standard, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

Highly Desirable
• A proven track record within a target driven environment
• History of working in an IT Sales focused role
• Knowledge and understanding of the IT Sales channel and where different companies fit in
