Technical Sales Administrator
Based in the Paddock Wood area
Salary £25k-£35K DOE

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join this company as a Technical Sales Administrator to assist with the growing needs of the business. Ideally, applicants should have electrical wholesale experience, with a knowledge of electrical components or similar. But is not essential.

The successful candidate would usually work on several prospective projects concurrently, meeting defined timescales, quality standards and commercial objectives whilst maintaining excellent working relationships with clients and suppliers.

Duties Include:
.Carrying out take-offs to be produced in conjunction with schedules.
.Preparing detailed costing schedules in Excel and understanding component requirements for each fitting.
.Raising accurately priced quotations for project opportunities whilst ensuring all tenderers receive information within deadline period.
.Placing supplier orders to fulfil projects taking into consideration time restraints that the company has agreed to meet with individual clients.
.Chasing deliveries and liaising with our logistics network to co-ordinate incoming and outgoing shipments.
.Project Management

Skills/ Experience:
.Strong numeracy skills
.have technical knowledge to examine in detail schedules to effectively raise accurate quotations
.Previous experience with IRIS Exchequer accounting software an advantage.
.Good all-round working knowledge of Microsoft packages, in particular, Excel
.Good communicative skills with a pleasant phone manner
.Experience in the tendering process
. Eager to learn, self-motivated with excellent ability to prioritise work with a need to succeed.
.Highly organised and methodical team player who can adapt to the demands of the day, keeping focused and work effectively under pressure.
.Ability to use CAD would be advantage
.Must be eligible to live and work in the UK, with fluent English language skills.
