Operations Manager Negotiable £50,000 - £75,000
This role is to work as an Operations Manager. A significant element of the role is related to providing operational support to the underwriters and assisting the team with the implementation and maintenance of robust processes which allow the delivery of a high-quality client service.
The key objective of the role is to provide support to the team with all Operations Processes on facilitised business. This will include but is not limited to the following specific tasks. The role is designed to support the underwriters and by doing this, contribute to a significant business growth and the delivery of key initiatives.
* Support the underwriters through expertise and consistency in the setup of GXB records for all facilities
* Support fellow peers within the team and ensure adherence to all Contract Certainty requirements with specific reference to the creation of facilities
* Ensure the accurate and effective maintenance of data held within the PFP processing systems
* Liaise with key team leaders to ensure that the team delivers the appropriate level of support for all clients
* Ensure the timely production of all contractual bordereau and ensure the accuracy of the data capture
* Working closely with our 3rd Party partners relative to all back-office processes (IBA, Claims & Premium Processing), ensuring that work is undertaken in accordance with the PFP operations model
* Work with our Digital Team to ensure appropriate development of Binder Management System and technology solutions
* Carrying out such projects and other duties and tasks as may from time to time be required
* Management of the Sequel Software tool in order to ensure upload of all bordereaux
* Proactive credit control on all declarations and comparison of written premium against paid premium
Key Skills required
* Experience in servicing facility contracts
* Understanding of the regulatory environment relative to the Insurance Industry in London and other regions
* Confident and proactive in communication with Clients, Underwriters and senior colleagues
* Respectful, self-motivated and disciplined
* Ability to produce Binding Authorities and have experience in processing BA, including post Brexit EEA BA's
* Ability to communicate with Clients and colleagues in a professional and respectful manner
* Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines
* Computer literate, including good knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint packages
* Experience in the use of London Market processes and systems (e.g DCOM, ATLAS, Crystal, PPL, Whitespace, DA sats)
* Ensure contractual timelines are met, (e.g issuance of BDXs, Payments)
* Daily monitoring with IBA team to monitor bad debt, cash and funding and escalate the problem to divisional management/IBA as appropriate
* Assisting with KYC due diligence procedures
