Our client is looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join their team based in Romford on a permanent basis. To be considered for this role, you must have engineering knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
The ideal candidate will be highly organised, able to work well under pressure and able to use their own initiative.
Day-to-day duties will include:
* Being responsible for all settings and basic maintenance of machines
* Ensuring that the company's maintenance plan is fully implemented
* Supporting factory management in resolving breakdowns
* Identifying and implementing process improvements to increase performance and ensure maximise capacity
* Ensuring all activities are carried out in line with the company H&S policies
* Training and coaching machine setter operators
* Key holding responsibilities
* Working with outside contractors when needed
To be considered for this role you must have a proven track record within a maintenance/engineering environment, as well as be NVQ Level 2 qualified in General Engineering.
This is a full-time, permanent role with the hours of Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week.
