Having not only survived but thrived during the pandemic and securing new business throughout 2019, 2020 and 2021 our client is looking to introducing a middle management level to their team to complement the company growth and to allow them to continue to expand in the coming years.
Our client is an award-winning family run, bespoke manufacturing company who design, manufacture and install all their own products.
This role would suit a production or manufacturing supervisor, team leader or similar seeking their next step in their career or a production / manufacturing manager who wants to utilize their skills in a smaller yet rewarding business.
Reporting directly to the Directors, you would be responsible for planning the day-to-day work for the manufacturing workforce whilst liaising with the design, administration, and installation teams. This is a hands-on role, and you would need to be able to work with the demands of a small, family run business environment.
The successful candidate will ideally have a solid work history within a wood-based fabrication environment, have strong leadership skills with the drive to enable the business to run smoothly whilst always ensuring quality is maintained.
• Production supervisory experience from within a large global / national company or similar Management experience from a SME with strong leadership skills is essential
• Have experience within a manufacturing environment at a managerial level
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Time management and ability to prioritise and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.
The role offers a starting salary of £27,000 to £30,000 per annum dependent on experience, company bonuses are spontaneously given in line with company performance, working a 45-hour week, 8.00 a.m. – 5.00 p.m. Monday to Friday, on-site parking.
