Qualified Accountant to specialise in R&D Tax
Mix of Office (Ashford) and Home Based
I am working with a leading business based in Ashford who are seeking a Qualified Accountant to join their business and focus on R&D tax relief projects. This leading organisation are Tolley prize winners who have been expanding rapidly over their 6-year lifespan.
Ideally this will be a part-time role, but they could look at full-time options for the right person. This is initially a 12-month contract but there is a chance it could be extended into a permanent opportunity thereafter.
If you are a qualified (could consider part-qualified) Accountant with a practice background who would like to have one of the big practices on your CV without having to travel to London, then this could be the ideal business for you.
To fulfil this role it is essential you have experience of owner managed businesses and corporation tax. The main aspects of the role will be to ensure and maintain the tax quality and integrity of the reports and claims that the team prepare for clients. You will also be supporting the wider team with peripheral accounting and tax matters. It is essential you have an eye for detail, a strong focus on quality and customer service as well as able to assist and give direction to more junior members of the business.
