Payroll Officer

Canterbury

Our client, a leading charity organisation, is currently looking for a Payroll Officer to join their team in Canterbury, to be responsible for the administration of payroll for 360 monthly paid members

Responsibilities:

* Support payroll processes
* Produce letters for employees in relations to changes in pay, including staters and leavers letters
* Ensure holiday pay is processes and submitted
* Ensure timesheets are processed
* Maintain and submit records of payroll changes
* Ensure all staff are informed of any changes
* Monthly sickness, absence and unpaid leave reports
* Submit payroll data to outsourced payroll provider
* Run payroll and pension related reports
* Send P45 and final payslips to leavers
* Action Pension submissions
* Ensure all pensions updates are sent to Pension agencies
* Ensure all records are maintained and up to date
* Other payroll duties as required

Person Specification:

* Experience working in payroll
* Good communication skills
* Organised
* Accurate and attention to detail
* CIPD qualified would be advantageous
