My client is looking for a Bookkeeper / Accountant to work closely alongside their Managing Director.
What does it entail?
Sales ledger
Purchase ledger
Bank reconciliation
Petty cash
Expense payments
Cash flow
Payroll
VAT returns
Overseeing pension schemes
Month end sales reporting
Foreign payments to suppliers in Europe, USA and Canada
Processing HM custom reports
Preparation of year end information
Organising company insurances
Ensuring compliance with ISO 9001 and ISO 14001
What skills and experience do I need?
An accountancy qualification or equivalent
Experience of using SAGE 50 Accounts and SAGE payroll - essential
Flexibility
Strong organisational skills
Ability to prioritise
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Good knowledge of MS Word, Outlook and Excel
