Transport Administrator

We are currently recruiting for a fantastic client based in the Mid Kent area, who are seeking a Transport Administrator to join their busy team.

Duties include:

* Working within the transport office to assist with the co-ordination of a team that delivers throughout the UK
* Assisting with ensuring the drivers are on the road as quickly and efficiently as possible and issues are resolved promptly
* Communicating with customers and drivers to resolve issues with deliveries/delivery timescales to ensure customer satisfaction is met
* Liaising with internal departments to proactively resolve challenges
* Updating customer portals
* Undertaking any other ad-hoc project or task within the company as required



Experience required:

* Experience working within a similar role, ideally working with drivers would be preferred
* Key customer service skills
* Be proactive and display initiative
* Possess effective communication skills
* Demonstrate a good working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel
* Have achieved a minimum of Grade C in GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English
