Position: CAD Design Engineer

Roles and Responsibility:

• Managing projects, designing, and manipulating CAD for patterns, moulds, tools and fixtures.
• Producing 3D models
• Liaising with customers and suppliers.
• Working closely with the shop floor to improve manufacturing processes
• Part of the CAD office team, working individually and as part of the team,
• Experience with a variety of materials, i.e.: plastics, aluminium, and model boards
• Good at working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent Organisational skills
• Ability to multitask and work to deadlines.
• Able to read engineering drawings
• A keen eye for detail
• Positive attitude with a pro customer approach

Experience:

• Ideally experience with Autodesk software but not essential.
• Experience with 3D printing, CNC machining and programming would be a benefit
• Knowledge with estimating would be a definite advantage
