In a nutshell, you'll provide a high quality frontline service to people at highest risk of domestic abuse using a client-centred personalised approach.

What you'll be doing

In this role, you'll be responsible for identifying and assessing the risks and needs of domestic abuse victims using an evidence-based risk identification checklist which will enable a dynamic and personal safety plan to meet the individual needs of a client and their family.

You'll advise clients on civil and criminal remedies and their housing rights. You'll support clients through the MARAC process, working closely with the police and other agencies to advocate for your clients' overall wellbeing.

You'll also carry out the following duties:

*

Meet client needs and preferences by undertaking support either in person or over the telephone.
*

Regularly support those experiencing domestic abuse at local One Stop Shops.
*

Support colleagues and partner agencies to provide the best possible service for victims of domestic abuse by helping to raise awareness of domestic abuse and promoting the IDVA service locally.

What we're looking for

To be successful in this role you must have a good understanding of domestic abuse including the impact of domestic abuse on victims and their children, with previous experience in a similar role.

You'll have comprehensive experience of delivering effective case work, risk and needs assessment and safety and support planning. It's vital you have both practical and procedural knowledge of civil and criminal justice remedies for victims of domestic abuse and their children.

What you can expect from us

Here at Clarion we're dedicated to rewarding hard work and commitment and providing benefits that support you and your lifestyle. As standard we offer;-

*

A flexible benefit scheme tailored to you, inclusive of healthcare options, dental insurance, restaurant card and cycle to work along with 1% of your salary to spend on whichever approved benefit you like!
*
