Rapport Housing and Care, one of the leading care and housing providers for older people in the south east, is looking for Night Carers to join the bank at Rogers House, our established residential care home in Medway.

With new developments in the pipeline and an in-house training programme available to all staff, its an exciting time to join our team and get started in your new career.

If you are a caring and compassionate person with patience and a willingness to learn, we want to hear from you.

Main duties include (but are not limited to):

Assisting residents with all aspects of their personal care needs

Supporting residents in their daily life e.g eating, activities, housekeeping etc

Reading and updating daily records / care plans

Answering emergency bells, telephone and entrance door, and greeting visitors.

Our carers:

Are caring, compassionate, patient and understanding of older people

Have an understanding of health and safety and the knowledge/ willingness to be trained in relevant procedures

Have excellent communication and teamwork skills

Understand different values and cultures

Have good timekeeping skills and professionalism

Train for and take on additional responsibilities, prioritising as necessary
