I am looking for a qualified teacher of economics for a job starting January 2022. This economics teaching job will be filled on a contract basis for the right candidate and could be considered full or part time. The school is 'outstanding' rated by Ofsted and as a grammar school enjoys a cohort of very academic students. Students at this school are expected to achieve to the best of their ability and so teaching also carries high expectations.
This teaching job is based in a secondary school in Tonbridge near to Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone and Sevenoaks. There is ample parking and for public transport users there is a very straightforward commute.
The successful Economics teacher will be required to teach KS4 and KS5 Economics courses. Specialists in KS5 or KS3 will be considered with flexibility in the department an option. The Business and Economics department at this school is currently thriving, achieving good results year on year and oversubscribed most years.
In order to succeed in this role you will be able to demonstrate:
Outstanding teaching in KS4 and KS5 Economics
Ability to teach high ability classes
