Our client, a leading pharmaceutical organisation, is looking for an experienced Microbiology Senior Analyst to help in performing testing on raw materials, intermediate and final products. This will involve site wide monitoring and supporting the team lead. The successful candidate will versed and experience in method development with regards to microbiological testing



A working knowledge built on a foundation of experience will serve you well in this role.



Microbiology Senior Analyst responsibilities

* Testing and reporting on results for chemical composition of samples.
* Ensuring correct and safe storage procedures are adhered to
* Prep and report on culture/reagents and outcomes
* Verify and substantiate laboratory results
* Routine testing (pathogen detection and Stability testing
* Deputising and supporting the team leader & QC manager
* Ensure adequate raw supplies, consumable and reagents are available as well as glassware
* Ensure all chemical waste is dealt with in accordance with regulations
* Follow and live by safety and ICH compliance in role
* Calibration of instrumentation for testing
* Diarise results and report across team and senior management





Candidate requirements

* Minimum of one years' experience in role or similar role is essential
* Working knowledge of HPLC/GC/ICH requirements would be highly desirable for the role
* Degree in biological science field essential
* History for training lab staff would be advantageous
* A high level of communication across all formats (verbal, written) is highly desirable
