Our client, a service provider covering supply chain, warehousing, quality assurance and more, is currently looking for a Food Technologistto join their team on a permanent basis.
You will be maintaining compliance across the site including BRC, Organics and Ethical standards. You will coach employees and managers in order to drive a culture of compliance.
As the Food Technologist, you will be responsible for the following:
* Working closely with Operational, Quality and other teams on site to ensure full understanding, acceptance and compliance with the required standards. Support the Technical Manager to ensure that the site is audit ready at all times
* Assisting the Technical manager with HACCP, QA Management Standards and Technical documentation on site
* Support the Technical Manager with the internal audit schedule
* Ensuring all testing relating to the Quality Management System is carried out
* Documenting all non-conformances and assist with their root cause analysis, as well as completing corrective actions
* Reporting site Technical KPIs to the Technical Manager and relevant teams to drive continuous improvement.
Person Specification:
* Qualified in Food or Agriculture or qualified by experience
* Ideally previous experience in a technical role
* Be able to drive continuous improvement
* Possess qualifications in HACCP and food hygiene
* Internal auditing qualification
* Able to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
