Do you want to use your skills to make a real difference in our communities? Our ambition is to end homelessness in Kent and we’re looking for someone to manage and develop our team supporting people who are rough sleeping or have experienced rough sleeping in the past.
You will have experience of supporting people with very complex needs and a good understanding of the drivers of homelessness and the challenges and barriers facing people who are rough sleeping.
You’ll have a positive approach, leading and developing your staff to deliver high quality, trauma-informed services that build trust and support people to move away from homelessness for good.
The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to establish strong working relationships with our multi-agency partners to provide the best possible outcomes for people who are living on the streets.

The role requires:
-In-depth experience of supporting homeless or vulnerable people and the ability to positively handle contact with clients with very complex needs
-Knowledge of social and healthcare services and an understanding of homelessness legislation
-Line management skills and the vision and drive to develop an outstanding service for clients
-A thorough working knowledge of case management systems to ensure data quality and effective sharing of work
-Excellent communication skills and experience of working with a range of stakeholders including multi-agency partners
-A commitment to the values that underpin all of Porchlight’s work
Interview date: TBC
Contract: Permanent
Working Pattern:9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility required
