This is a challenging but rewarding role, supporting individuals that sleep rough on the streets of Kent, many of whom are entrenched, have complex support needs and have a history of non-engagement. You will assist with issues that may have led to the breakdown of previous accommodation, as well as signposting to other agencies for help with needs that are more complex.
The role requires:
-A patient, compassionate understanding of individuals who have spent many years on the street and who may find it difficult to engage with mainstream services.
-Excellent communication, administrative and negotiation skills.
-Able to work both as part of a busy team and independently within the community
-A passion for working in a client focused manner and be committed to achieving positive outcomes for the people you support.
-An ability to set clear goals and boundaries to empower clients identify with and reach their full potential
-A high level of resilience and the ability to work under sustained pressure
Interview date: 11th October 2021
Contract: Fixed Term until 31st March 2022
Working Pattern:9am to 5pm Monday to Friday with some flexibility required
Salary: Following a recent salary review, the salary for this role will increase to £22,095 pro rata per annum from 1st November 2021.
