Purchase Ledger Clerk

Quote Me Today is one of the UK’s leading and fastest-growing commercial insurance brokers and provides tailored insurance solutions to a wide range of customers and businesses.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive individual to join our Finance team as a Purchase Ledger Clerk. We are looking for people who are able to work under pressure and juggle a full workload; are resourceful, show initiative and have a positive outlook.

This role involves:
• Completing weekly insurer reconciliations.
• Raising queries and disputes internally and with insurers.
• Allocating payments to client accounts making sure the system is always up to date.
• Reconciliations of IBA bank accounts and reconciliations and cashbooks and postings into the General Ledger in time for Month end reporting.
• Supporting with Premium Finance reconciliations and pre-banking.
• Accounts payable process of posting into Sage 200 for the company expenses.
• Making weekly BACS payments along with ad-hoc and same day payments and updating cashbooks.

The hours for this role are 9am - 5.30pm Monday - Friday with a 1-hour lunch break.

The selection process for this role will involve an interview lasting approximately 45 – 60 minutes All appointments are made subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks.
