Lead Software Developer
Sittingbourne, Kent

Our client, based in Sittingbourne, is currently seeking to recruit a Senior Software Developer to lead their growing software development and support team. This is an office-based role.
This role will include development and day-to-day support for their well-established ERP solutions, as well as providing management and mentoring of the more junior team members. There is a requirement for customer-facing interactions, some support work and occasional travel to customer sites around UK with occasional international travel.
The ideal candidate will have proven knowledge of some or all the following:
• C#
• VB.Net
• MSSQL
• SQL Server (2005 upwards) including T-SQL
• Java
• Angular
• WinForms
• Inheritance and OOP design principles.
• Database design and basic database admin procedures
• Knowledge of Accounts based solutions.
• XML
• EDI
• Android App development
• Kotlin
• Postgres
Personal Skills:
• At least 3 years of .Net experience
• At least 5 years of software development experience
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Leadership or mentoring skills
• Flexibility and adaptability
• Analytical and problem-solving ability
• Ability to express technical concepts to a non-technical audience both verbally and in writing
• The ability to work within a team or on own
