Guaranteed Hours – day work
£9.75 per hour

We are looking for a special person who wants to make a difference to the lives of unpaid Carers and the people they care for. The aim of our Urgent Care service is to support families in crisis situations, avoid unnecessary hospital admissions, increase quicker discharges from hospital, reduce unnecessary prolonged stays for people and allowing them to recover in the comfort of their own home, as well as freeing up hospital beds. The service will also provide support for people returning home from hospital towards the end of their lives.

As part of our experienced Urgent Care Team you must be confident and capable of working alone and able to deal with challenges. You will work as part of a rota to support a family Carer, the person they care for, or both, depending on their situation. During your visits, you will be undertaking risk assessments, support with health appointments, deliver personal care and support, monitor health, update care plans and be on hand for all types of care needs.

Our staff are lovely, resilient, caring people who want to make a real difference - so, if this is you and you are an experienced care worker with the capability to undertake care assessments, have a full driving licence and use of your own car and telephone we would love to hear from you. An NVQ Level 3 or equivalent is preferred but not essential to start with as training will be provided.
