Senior Broker Support (Treaty)

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Broker Support to join the Treaty department.
This individual will be responsible for looking after non-marine business in Dubai and Central/Eastern Europe. Reporting into the Broker Support Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
Cultivates a thorough understanding of insurance markets to better serve clients.
Assists more senior Placement colleagues during negotiations with insurance carriers by securing and comparing submissions.
Prepares proposal components for more senior Placement colleagues to win new business and opportunities.
Production of placement slips and endorsements to the current MRC standard.
Produce Evidence of Covers within the companies standard 30 day timeframe.
Maintain a tidy and comprehensive contractual file throughout the entire transaction.
Use of front-end broking systems as and when required.
Where required liaise with Brokers to prepare and send submissions to underwriters.
Liaise with departmentsto ensure timely settlement of all accounting issues.
To be accountable for all aspects of service and support for their Client.
Where required receiving and monitoring technical questions from underwriters and advising clients as to the responses required.
Mentoring & Training Junior team members.

Candiate Profile:
Solid experience within an Account Handling or Broker Support role, managing the process from cradle to grave.
Strong organisation skills, proactive and have the ability to work at pace.
Strong numbers skills.
Problem solving.
Strong contract drafting experience.
Highly client focused and ability to communicate well.
Experience in a Broker's Treaty team or Reinsurance Treaty Team.
Broker Support or Account Handler experience.
