Senior Trade Credit Claims Adjuster
Location : City of London or Ipswich or Brighton with option to work 2 days from home.
Type : Permanent
Salary: to £85,000 + bens
An opportunity to join a global leader in the (re)insurance run-off environment, providing innovative solutions and creative run-off strategies.
Due to business acquisition and increased volumes of work, our client is seeking to hire an experienced claims adjuster with strong technical knowledge of trade credit in the political arena.
You will be tasked with achieving prompt, accurate and consistent adjustment, reserving and settlement of political trade credit claims in accordance with company philosophy and guidelines.
Providing a monthly review and report on the status of each portfolio.
Collaborating with underwriters , co-insurers, brokers, cedants, lawyers, loss adjusters, Xchanging and other experts in order to ensure the effective progress of claims.
Resolving and negotiating disputed claims.
Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
This is a senior role and candidates must possess the technical and Lloyds market expertise to act with autonomy and minimum supervision. Experience handling large and complex claims in the trade credit arena is required. The role requires applicants to show confident communications skills, data analysis experience and the ability to negotiate.
