Are you an experienced content professional/copywriter with in-depth knowledge of what is takes to create inspiring content, or do you have experience in working in a fast moving marketing and student recruitment environment?

If you are a natural story teller, or have a background in journalism or copywriting, and a creative and innovative flair with a high level of attention to detail then read on;

We have an exciting career opportunity to join our fast moving Marketing and Student Recruitment Team as a Content Officer (Copywriter).

As Content Officer (Copywriter), you will:

be responsible for the creation of content to drive conversion at all stages of the student journey across both undergraduate and postgraduate markets
establish a wide range of relationships across the University to ensure content resonates with our audiences and is fresh and relevant
contribute to market plans and campaigns, developing brand and specific messaging and communications
source and generate content for use across a range of marketing channels, including, but not limited to email nurturing
establish targets and KPIs, drive performance and embed learnings for campaign improvement
To succeed in this role you will have:

experience of sourcing and creating inspiring case studies that motivate audiences to take action, delivering content that really drives results
a professional qualification in marketing (Chartered Institute of Marketing or Institute of Direct Marketing) or equivalent relevant experience, or substantial experience of producing successful marketing communications
experience of creating compelling content for use across a wide range of platforms
an understanding of email marketing and CRM platforms e.g. Microsoft Dynamics
knowledge and understanding, or a personal interest in recruitment in the Higher Education sector
The Directorate of Marketing, Recruitment, Outreach and Admissions is a new directorate and aims to bring together the University’s key recruitment activities to ensure that a co-ordinated and collaborative approach is taken. With a focus on outcomes, it has ambitious targets to achieve across all audiences
