Claims Broker - International Property & Casualty

Salary: £45,000 to £65,000 dep.on experience

A market leading, global insurance broking business is looking to hire an experienced international P&C Claims Broker.

*You will be handling a variety of claims emanating from around the World and managing your own allocated portfolio of accounts.
*Your portfolio will consist of open market and binder business on a wholesale basis. There may be a combination of direct and some re-insurance accounts.
*You will be handling claims from first advice to final settlement, to include setting up first advice, processing and managing subsequent movements on internal claims systems / ECF / Class.
*You will be required to handle claims efficiently in a proactive manner including the physical and/or electronic broking, negotiations, management of claims and the payment process.
*For major Clients you will be responsible for maintaining the claims relationship, including regular calls, and provision of claims reports and management of Insurers.
*You will be reporting to the Team Leader and providing support and assistance to the Claims Advocate on large; contentious or complex losses including CAT events.

This role will suit applicants possessing ....

*Solid international Property / Casualty Liability claims experience.
*Proficient in using the London market systems e.g. ECF, CLASS.
*ACII or working towards would be a distinct advantage.
*Display Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, networking influencing and negotiation skills.
*Expert knowledge of policy coverage and associated benefits and exclusions.
