SENIOR CLAIMS HANDLER/ADVOCATE - CYBER TEAM £40,000 to £60,000 negotiable
Flexible home/office split

We're looking for a motivated, professional and dedicated Senior Claims Handler to join a city based Lloyds Broker. Responsible for delivering a high quality, professional advice service to your clients concerning any claims issues. You effectively over exceed your clients' expectations, an expert claims handler and who handles claims from beginning through to conclusion.

Your Role
Advise and update your clients about relevant events and discussions during their claim. Ensure complete customer satisfaction during what can be a stressful time.
Regularly assess the status of claims with clients, insurers, recovery agents and solicitors.
Offer appropriate technical advice to clients throughout the duration of the claim. Encourage, show compassion and effectively balance your clients expectations.
Ensure your market, insurance, legislation and other technical knowledge is developed and maintained.
Run claims efficiently and keep the system updated with all relevant information.
Update insurers and recovery agents, informing them of any additional information acquired during the claims process.
Ensure that claims statistics are accurate and produced in accordance to SLAs.

Your Experience, Knowledge And Skills
Cert CII/ Dip CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) qualification desirable and educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
You have previous experience within the insurance industry and expert claims handling focus.
Exposure to Cyber Claims is essential
You'll rely readily on your strong customer service drive along with your forward planning and analytical skills.
You are a proficient administrator with exceptional communications skills, task focused, you're keen to develop your career.
We want you to spot potential risks and seek advice when required; by applying due diligence and adhering to our company processes.
With strong social skills, you're happy to use initiative when assisting team members.
Proficient in MS Office
Eligible to work in the UK.
