Your new role
Independently prepare & present monthly and annual accounts in Sage accounting - this will involve preparing and finalising :
Full P&L
Full balance Sheet with reconciliations
Cash flow statement and cash flow forecast
Getting the accounts audited
Provide commercial support as deemed necessary, including liaising with the creditors, debtors and other stakeholders directly:
Making payments to the vendors
Seek collection of dues and raising commercial invoices (usually minimal)
Reading, understanding and confirming to the FD the correctness of commercial contracts, as and when required.
Ensure that these entities are well funded - working collaboratively
Prepare & present monthly accounts of subsidiary company including full account reconciliation (inventory, Debtors, Creditors, Bank position and P&L account): preparing full P&L; full balance sheet; cash flow statements; monthly financial commentary; reconciling key ledgers; submitting VAT returns for these entities

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant ACA or ACCA
Possibly looking to make a first move from practice into industry
Advanced Excel skills
Staff management
Personable, persuasive
Ambitious
