If you are an excellent communicator with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail, ideally in a customer facing role, we would welcome your application for the divisional role of Research Programmes Administrator.

In this role you will provide a comprehensive, end-to-end student administrative support of the Division’s research programmes and activities. You will be a proactive member of the Programmes Administration team, responding to queries from students, colleagues from across the University, visitors and external contacts on routine matters, ensuring a courteous and efficient response at all times.

As Research Programmes Administrator you will:

act as a point of contact for all research students, advising on a wide range of matters to support a positive student experience
provide a broad range of support and administrative service across all research programmes to ensure the Division is promoting a positive student experience in line with the requirements of the University’s Codes of Practice and policies
maintain records and files (including updating databases and trackers)
provide staff and students with guidance on how to apply the detailed divisional and University Research Programme policies and procedures
To be successful in this role you will have:

GCSEs in English & Maths (Grade C/4 or above), or equivalent
good IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office packages (intermediate level)
experience of using spreadsheets and databases on a regular basis
experience of minute taking
