IT Infrastructure Engineer - Mid Kent - Up to £40,000 plus overtime & excellent benefits - ASAP Start

I currently have an excellent opportunity for a project focused Infrastructure Engineer to provide support, maintenance and delivery of complex projects. This role is offering a fantastic career opportunity that has you working to a career and skills development plan from day one.

Daily Duties

* Working with management teams and businesses to deliver projects to a defined scope, quality, cost and timescale for outcome success.
* Clarifying client system specifications, understanding working practices and the nature of the customers' business.
* Liaising with staff at all levels - good stakeholder management is therefore a pre-requisite.
* Developing new technologies and then implementing
* Designing, testing, installing and monitoring systems during the Project phase
* Preparing documentation and presenting progress reports to customers following implementation.

Skills Required

* Proven background from an Infrastructure focused role
* Strong project and delivery experience using Agile or Prince2
* Ability communicate with all levels of staff and stakeholders
* Excellent verbal communicator
* Strong technical skills with the following

* Microsoft Server Operating Systems
* Virtualisation (Microsoft Hyper-V / VMMware) / Failover Clustering
* Exchange Server / Office 365 and associated e-mail protocols
* Design of platforms
* Cloud - AWS or Azure
* Wintel - Exchange/AD/RDS
* SQL
* Storage - SANS/NAS
* Virtualisation - VMware/Hyper-V
* Raid concepts
* Networks - switches/routers
* MS SQL

* Any IT qualifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSO are highly desirable
