ApproCare are currently seeking more Local Community Carers to work in Sheppey (Sheerness, Minster, Queenborough, Leysdown) or Sittingbourne. All areas available. Successful applicants will be kept to their own local area as much as possible. Mobile phone essential. DRIVERS ARE ESSENTIAL.
A bit about us:
ApproCare is leading a Care provider to adults in their own homes and communities throughout Swale & Medway Towns. Established in 2013 and founded by our Care Director who started her career aged 16 as an apprentice in a care home, then worked her way up to Registered Manager. Caring for her terminally ill Father as well as her terminally ill Mother in Law both back in 2011 and 2012, it was then she realised she wanted to use her own professional qualifications and personal experiences to set up ApproCare. The rest as they say, is history.
Join the team:
MORNING/DAY CARERS: We require Community Carers to work 5 days a week mornings/days ideally on a 6/7am-2pm shift, however finish time can be flexible to suit applicant preference. Plus AM & PM every other Saturday & Sunday.
EVENING CARERS: We require Community Carers to work 5 days a week evenings ideally on a 2pm-10pm shift , however start time can be flexible to suit applicant preference. Plus AM & PM every other Saturday & Sunday.
Experience preferred but not essential as comprehensive training will be given prior to starting and ongoing support.
Duties include assisting adults with all aspects of personal care (washing, dressing, toileting etc) and domestic support within their own homes.
