Wedding Day & Function Coordinator
Are you a restaurant manager or waiter looking for a change of direction?
The Plough at Leigh, Hildenborough Kent is looking to recruit a hands-on wedding day and function coordinator to guide our happy couples, their guests and our team through each and every special wedding day and function, this summer and autumn and moving forward as a permanent role.
Weddings and therefore days of work, are to take place Fridays, Saturdays and one weekday (Thursdays are popular) each week, with input of a final meeting with every couple before their wedding day.
The role will include:
*Venue set up and decoration
*Meeting greeting and looking after the wedding party and their guests
*Room change around, furniture placement and decoration
* Food and beverage service
*Bar service
* Responsibility for health & safety and amplified music policy endorsement
Minimum 30-hour week contract.
Previous experience in a FOH role is necessary.
Will suit a friendly, well presented individual with a desire to deliver
Organised, flexible and conscientious.
We offer a friendly, family run place of work.
We would be delighted to invite you to come and join us.
Hourly rate £11.00 - £13.00 per hour depending on experience.
