An exciting opportunity has a risen for a Qualified an experienced TAX Accountant who is looking to join a highly successful business in Mid-Kent.
Reporting into the Head of Tax you will be responsible for all UK Corporation tax, VAT, whilst also being involved with tax reporting for the European entities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Preparation of US GAAP tax reporting
* Works with financial management officials to develop tax strategies that involve both incentives and tax-compliance recognition's
* Prepare tax statuary accounts
* Assists with preparing annual financial records, including meeting deadlines and ensuring all financial practices and records comply with accepted accounting standards
* Preparation of UK tax returns
* Maintains and updates working knowledge of tax laws and regulations, including new filing practices, deadlines, and any company-specific information
* Review the UK Vat returns
Person Specification:
* Qualified TAX Accountant
* Experience with IFRS and US GAAP tax calculations
* UK Vat returns experience.
* Background dealing with HMRC
* Experience with non-UK tax regimes (desirable)
