The Best Connection are currently seeking a 7.5 tonne driver for our Aylesford based client.

The company itself specialises in the delivery of furniture to home addresses e.g. sofa's, alongside a drivers mate.

Please be aware that you will commence the position as a drivers mate whilst learning the multiple aspects of the role.

Applicants must be aware that this role will involve heavy lifting, and therefore must be physically capable of lifting a range of weights throughout the course of the working day.

This role may involve maneuvering furniture upstairs and downstairs, so communication with the drivers mate is essential to avoid potential damage.

Please be aware that on days where the volume is low, you may be asked to assist in the warehouse.


The start time is 07:00.


The shift patterns vary each week. Please be aware that weekends will be implemented into the rota. Speak to a consultant for further details.


The pay rates are:


Monday-Friday: £11.50 per hour

After 8 hours: £13.50 per hour

Saturday: £13.50 per hour

Sunday: £13.50 per hour


You will be paid a guaranteed 8 hours a day.


There will be a 60 minute unpaid break per day.

To be eligible for this position, you must possess the following:


- UK Driving Licence (No more than 6 points)
- C1 entitlement (7.5 tonne)
- Valid CPC
- Valid Digi-Card
- Positive attitude
- Reliability
- Flexibility
- Honesty
- Own transport/accessible public transport
- Must be over the age of 18
- High level of communication
- Keen eye to detail
