Purchase Ledger Clerk,
Responsibilities will include:
• Matching, checking and coding high volume of purchase invoices
• Resolving invoice issues quickly and efficiently
• Oversee the purchase ledger email address
• Calling/Emailing orders over to suppliers
• Processing staff expenses
• Setting up of new supplier accounts and maintaining existing account details
• Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements
• Preparing payment runs for Manager
• Filing invoices
• Data entry to Sage Accounts
• Being first point of contact for purchase ledger related queries
• Liaising with and maintaining good relationships with suppliers
• General office/admin duties, answering phone calls, liaising with staff members, opening and sorting post, etc
The successful candidate will ideally possess the below skills:
• Hardworking
• High level of accuracy and a great attention to detail
• Good IT skills including Word & Excel
• Excellent communication skills
• Good teamwork ethic
• Friendly, polite and professional personality
• Experience of working on Sage
• Previous experience in a purchase ledger/accounts role
This is a permanent full time position working in a fast flowing office in Canterbury with an enthusiastic, fun and hardworking team.
Immediate start date for the right candidate
Salary £19-£24k a year depending on experience
